Arif completed his Law Degree at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle, in 2011 before completing his BPTC at the University of Law, Bloomsbury, in 2019. In addition, he has achieved a Master's in English Literature.

Arif has over 10 years of experience working at different law firms throughout Kent and London and joined our criminal department in May 2022 and specialises in sexual offences.

Currently, he manages his own caseload as a fee earner and assists senior fee earners in dealing with different cases, mainly at the Magistrates' Court and Crown Courts. He also advises clients at the police stations as a probationary police station representative.

Examples of recent cases

Arif has recently dealt with criminal offences including - possession of indecent images, public order offences, ABH, GBH, controlling and coercive behaviour, different motoring offences, criminal damage, harassment and stalking, theft, and sexual offences.

Outside the office, he enjoys reading classic fiction and non-fiction. He also loves playing the guitar, singing karaoke, and listening to classic rock bands like AC/DC and Fleetwood Mac. In addition, he is a passionate fan of Chelsea FC, English Premier League football and cricket.

Arif is also fluent in Bengali, Hindi and Urdu.

Arif is predominantly based in our Maidstone office but advises clients throughout Kent.
